The National Council for Research on Women (NCRW)
The NCRW is an organization that promotes research and advocacy. They have established a Misinformation Clearinghouse which primarily keeps watch over government resources about women. Within the Clearinghouse, there is a Misinformation Exchange to log disappearing and inaccurate information and a Resource Exchange to offer alternative resources.

National Women's Law Center (NWLC)
The NWLC advocates for women through fighting for change in public policy, litigation in federal and state courts, and public education about public policies that affect women and girls. Just a few of the issues they work on include closing the gender gap in employment and education, and fighting to retain and enhance reproductive rights. This is a good website to learn about current policy affecting women.

Planned Changes to the Current Employment Survey (CES)
Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)
This is an example of "disappearing information." The BLS will no longer collect specific data on women through their CES by discontinuing their "Women Workers Series."

Politics & Science: Investigating the State of Science Under the Bush Administration
U.S. House of Representatives
This report shows how science is being manipulated by the Bush Administration to promote its agenda. Unqualified individuals with industry ties or "ideological agendas" are appointed to advisory committees. The FDA's Reproductive Health Advisory Committee has been affected as well as many other committees and research areas.
