Woodbury University to Host 'F. LL.W.: The Tragedies and Triumphs of Frank Lloyd Wright' on April 13 (Burbank, CA March 21, 2003) Playwright and actor John Crowther will bring his one-man show, F.LL.W.: The Tragedies and Triumphs of Frank Lloyd Wright, to Woodbury University on Sunday, April 13. The evening will begin with a cocktail and buffet reception from 6 to 6:45 p.m. at Woodbury University, 7500 Glenoaks Boulevard, Burbank. The play will be presented at 6:45 p.m., with coffee and dessert served afterward. The controversial play is about American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, whose lover and friends were murdered by one of Wright's employees in a house of Wright's own design. Directed by Willard Simms, the play examines Wright's life, from personal adversities and professional setbacks to design innovations and architectural achievements to his comments about American popular culture. Cost is $50 per person for the entire evening or $25 for the presentation and dessert. Proceeds from the event benefit Woodbury University's Library Associates, a volunteer organization dedicated to improving library services. For tickets, please call Woodbury University at 818.767.0888, ext. 230. Tickets also will be available at the door. ###
