Woodbury University to Host Lecture by Renowned Graphic Artist April Greiman on April 14

(Burbank, CA ­ April 1, 2003) Graphic designer April Greiman will discuss her innovative, award-winning work during a Monday, April 14 appearance at Woodbury University.

The free lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. at The New Woody’s at the Woodbury campus, 7500 Glenoaks Boulevard, Burbank. The lecture also will kick off Woodbury’s annual exhibition of outstanding student graphic arts work, including drawings, illustrations, graphics, package designs, digital images, advertisements and multi-media presentations.

A pioneer of the digital revolution, Greiman’s work encompasses environmental, motion and interactive design. The Los Angeles-based designer is also known for her stamp for the U.S. Postal Service to commemorate the 19th amendment. Greiman has been honored with the medal of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Chrysler Award for Innovation.
