Alsion Bruesehoff Joins Woodbury University Board of Trustees as Alumni Representative

(Burbank, CA ­ September 23, 2003) Woodbury University today announced the appointment of Alison Bruesehoff as the alumni representative to the Board of Trustees.

Bruesehoff, who earned an MBA from Woodbury in May, is the executive director of the Forest Lawn Museum at Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks in Glendale. She previously served as director of collections management at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage in Los Angeles.

During her time at Woodbury, the Los Angeles resident served as president and vice president of public relations for the MBA Association. Bruesehoff also holds a master of arts degree in museum studies from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a bachelor of arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.

"Alison Bruesehoff's perspective on the Woodbury student experience will be an asset to the Board of Trustees as we plan for the future. The Woodbury Board of Trustees consists of individuals who have diverse experience in education, business, law, philanthropy, medicine and public service.

Founded in 1884, Woodbury University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Southern California. An accredited, nonprofit university, Woodbury is located on a 22-acre residential campus in Burbank and offers bachelor's degrees from the School of Architecture and Design, Business and Management, and Arts and Sciences. Woodbury also offers a master of business administration as well as weekend and evening study for working adults. A San Diego campus was established in 1998 to offer bachelor of architecture degrees.
