The MBA Degree is a widely accepted qualification in business management, recognized around the globe. Woodbury's MBA Career Center strives to support the interests of MBA students in professional development and in the acquisition of managerial competencies for improved job opportunities, career change, general business knowledge, intellectual stimulation, improved earnings and increased self-confidence for activity within the business community. The MBA Career Center staff will assist MBA students in job skills development, interest and personality assessment, resume improvement, career activities and networks to help you achieve your professional goals. Our MBA Career Center works closely with University Career Services to promote student success. Career Services is committed to the teaching, learning and communicating of personal, proactive behaviors that convert career visions to reality. Programs and workshops are offered throughout the school year to assist you in your personal and professional development. Our focus is on preparation of our students for effective interaction within the professional community, and to explore the full range of potential in your career. Workshops include:
Panels and seminars with industry specialists provide the latest information on requirements in the workplace. Services also include assessments, career advising and coaching, on-line resources, a career library, job and industry information, job fairs, on-campus interviews, and a resource database of employers and recruiters for jobs and internships. Career Services has established partnerships with each academic department at Woodbury, as well as with numerous external resources such as professional associations, community organizations, businesses and government offices, resulting in timely access to information related to employment and education. The goal of Career Services is to help each student prepare for effective and rewarding professional activity in a changing global environment.
