Study Abroad andTravel Programs

Woodbury offers a number of opportunities to travel and study both within the United States and overseas, ranging from short trips to the summer semester abroad in Paris and Barcelona. Architecture studios have recently traveled to Costa Rica for site investigation and to attend the Mundaneum, to Marfa, Texas to visit the Chinati Foundation, and to the California high desert town of Zzyzx. The summer Barcelona and Paris architecture program offers a full semester of studio and lecture credit in classes exploring theory, design, and history in these highly charged urban settings.

Woodbury chapters of the AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) and CLEA (Congress of Latin-American Students of Architecture) have organized national and international student trips. Our two AIAS chapters regularly attend the AIAS Forum and Grassroots, and our CLEA students are active participants in annual ELEA (Encounter of Latin-American Students of Architecture) events.
